I will never forget this day as long as I live. It was 10am and Caleb and Lily were on the floor playing just like any other morning. Caleb's little chair tipped over and he fell face 1st into the fireplace! His mouth hit the stone. I rushed over to him and rolled him over and his entire mouth was filled with blood. I was so scared I ran him to the kitchen with my hand under his mouth to catch the blood. I threw him in the sink clothes and all!!! When I got the blood to stop I realized he had a very deep gash on the corner of his mouth. I mean it was deep enough for you lay the side of his mouth open! I called my Nana to come sit with Lily and Christian so I could take Caleb to the doctor. When I got to his Dr's office they took one look at him and told me that he needed to go to the ER and get stitches. So we drove over to the hospital and had to sit for a few min but they took him right back. We waited in a room for about 15min and the Dr finally came in and by that time Caleb was already pissed because he couldn't get down and run around. They wrapped him in a pillow case and strapped him down to a hospital bed and stuck a huge needle into his cut and all around his lip to numb it. He was screaming bloody murder! As the Dr was stitching up his face he was screaming and looking at me like "mom why are you letting them do this to me." I was crying!! I didn't notice until we got to the hospital that his tooth is broken! So after he was all stitched up the Dr told me to follow up with a dentist this week. I got him an apt at a local dentist on Thursday. We don't have dental insurance so I hope it wont cost us an arm and a leg but we will see!! Ill pay anything for him though. Money is no object when it comes to his health. Ill take out a loan if I have to!! He is actually doing okay today I am givin g him motrin for the pain and he is eating well so I am proud of my tough little man!

Christmas Tree

I finally got our Christmas tree up!! I usually am going Christmas crazy by now this time of year but I had to force myself to do anything this year. Maybe because we are so tight for money? Not sure!

Caleb is in love with his Christmas tree. He keeps saying "oOoOoO NaNNEY"(mommy) He is pointing and laughing and dancing. I love watching him enjoy himself. I can't wait for him to tear into his gifts! I want to start wrapping a little here and there so its not so overwhelming all at once and it will save my back!!

Caleb 13months

I see by the pic to the left that my date on my camera is messed up ha ha!! Caleb turned 13 months on Monday! He is more of a handful than I ever thought my Lil man ever would be!! You can't turn your back on him for 1 second. He is smart though. Maybe too smart for his own good. I thought him how to give Eskimo kisses the other day!! He shakes his head back and fourth and presses his nose to yours! His daddy gets a kick out of it!! Whenever anyone walks through the door he says "HI"!! Hes a happy baby and I am thankful for that. He has been getting his Lil butt popped on a regular basis lately it hurts my feelings but I feel that hes getting out of control FAST!! I am scared to put up our Christmas tree this year!! How I would keep him out of it?? I would have to put him in a cage ha ha!! JK! This past week he is trying to cut more teeth and his little face is broke out and he is miserable with a runny nose. He now has 4 on top and 2 on the bottom...I have a feeling that his "I" teeth are trying to pop through because this is the worst teething experience so far.

Thanksgiving was great this year. It was small and intimate. I bought 2 turkeys and a ham so I was happy to have provided the meat for the dinner made me feel good. Mom thought me how to cook all her secret thanksgiving food :) Carl and I ate so much food we were worthless for a few hours. Caleb had 2 slices of turkey and 1 slice of ham and 2 dinner rolls ha ha he was stuffed!! He couldn't fall asleep fast enough.

Midnight on Thanksgiving Mom, Shelby and I went to St. Aug outlet mall and went black Friday shopping! I was so tired the next day but Caleb let mommy sleep until 10am!!! That's the latest hes ever slept and it couldn't have come on a better morning. We didn't get home until 4 that morning and Carl got up and went fishing with my dad early so it was just pookie and I and we slept in I was SO thankful for that!!

Under the weather

Everyone in my house is so stuffy and miserable. Poor Caleb is so fussy!! At least a few times a month my whole body gets shaky and I start sweating and I feel like I am "out of my body" its really weird!! I need to go to the Dr and get it all checked out because its happening more and more frequently! I don't know if I am having Low blood pressure, or dehydration, or low blood sugar....

Spaghetti

For the past few nights when Carl gets home from work he has been cracking on me like crazy. The house isn't clean enough, dinners not done, mine and Caleb's shit is laying everywhere...blah blah! Well tonight he was trying to eat dinner and my purse was in his way so he throws it across the room. YES throws it! So I got SO mad I picked up his plate of spaghetti and threw it at him. It went EVERYWHERE!! It made me feel better to "put him in his place" but when I turn around and see Caleb with spaghetti all over him and all over his peanut butter sandwich he was eating for dinner broke my heart. I never wanted Caleb to see his mother crazy like that. I picked up Caleb and we went and played in the tub and I made him a new sandwich :( Carl cleaned up all the spaghetti while Caleb and I were in the tub. I guess he realized he PISSED me off!

Poop Dee Doop!

So last night Carl and Caleb were taking a shower and Caleb loves to run in and out of the shower and play around. Well I am sitting with Carl's mom and all of a sudden I hear "SAMMMMM" all freaked out sounding. I run in the bathroom thinking the worst and guess what I see.....Caleb pooping on the rug! It was so funny I couldnt help but laugh my ass off!!!

Imagine that...

So I let my blackberry dry out and it works like a charm AFTER I already paid $89.00 for a new phone and I have to go to Walmart today but I am stuck here waiting on my new phone to get here. When did phones become so expensive?

Swimming...

So my Blackberry went for a swim in the bath tub today. It is so messed up the screen is fried! I pay for insurance on it every month and they still charger me $89.00 for a new phone! I guess its cheaper than a brand new one but still not cheap when I am trying to buy Christmas! I am having with drawls not being able to text and check my social networking online. Oh well Ill have my new phone tomorrow...

"Working"

I have recently started babysitting my friend Eva's kids. Lily is 2 and Christian is just a few months old. It is handful with 3 kids but I love not having to get up and get dressed in the morning. Caleb is more of a handful than her two kids put together. Christian reminds me of my little man when he was a baby!! I am going to wait on having another baby until we are better "on our feet" because I see now how much work it is having more than one little one at a time. I praise others that can do it because its hard!

I have also taken up with weekend job doing home health care! Its not hard but the days are so long and I hate working 7 days a week but HEY I like having the extra money. It gives Carl and Caleb quality time to spend together with out me around. Caleb is such a mommas boy and I know it hurts Carl's feelings sometimes but that's what happens when your at home with them as much as I am with Caleb.

Testing my patience

My little boy Caleb has just turned 1 and I swear he is in his terrible 2s already. He can be so sweet and so mean withen 5 mins of each other. He looks at me and puts him 1 little finger on something he shouldnt and just waits for me to react. He is going to be spending alot of time in his bed by himself. I dont wanna raise "one of those kids"...
